Although our fourth-graders are experienced schoolchildren who know that the last day of school is a bit more relaxed, they couldn’t have expected to have the party they enjoyed in the schoolyard.

They came to school, as usual, prepared to enjoy diverse creative activities with the schoolmates they will part with during the summer break; but they were in for a big surprise.

On the stands of the sports court were specially designed packets with collages of shared photos created during the past year. Each box contained presents and a message from teacher Danijela Kleut who wished them all the best next year, as they will have subject teachers come September.

This is why there was a special message for them on the fence: “Year 4 students, have a great new start”.

A party with singing, dancing and the unavoidable “train ride”

But this was not all. Actually, it was just the beginning, as the party was just starting.

What ensued was a real party with lots of dancing, singing, balloons, swings, “train ride” and other interesting activities.

Savremena’s students had a wonderful time at the party and were eager to see everybody again at the start of the next school year.
