All our teachers are fully devoted to Savremena’s mission and vision. They keep finding new ways to engage the students and constantly work on improving their teaching repertoire.

As teachers’ competences greatly influence the students’ development and learning, the teaching personnel has been selected in accordance with the knowledge and skills necessary in order to ensure maximum efficiency in education. With this kind of selection process, we can safely say that we have hired the best teachers. Also well worth mentioning is the fact that each teacher’s competences that have to do the prevention and bullying, as well as the fostering of motivation and tolerance, are highly developed.

Savremena’s teachers are experts in their selected fields, dedicated to lifelong self-advancement; 80% of them already have a master’s degree; having acquired it, they continue to learn every day and have no intention to ever stop learning and advancing themselves.

Savremena supports the teachers’ self-advancement through educational programs, seminars and conferences. After each professional training experience, they return to share the most important points of their new knowledge so that all the participants in the education process could benefit from it.

Striving to formulate the best education for the 21st century, we decided to find the best teachers who worked in different educational models.

Almost a half of our teaching personnel have taught in both public schools and private schools that implement progressive, new models of learning.

Savremena appreciates project-based learning and a strict approach to the development of core skills in order to provide the students with a comprehensive and balanced education. Forming teams whose members have different experiences helps us implement this versatile approach.
Among our teaching personnel, 70% taught at public schools, while 40% taught at private schools.

After all, at Savremena, we do not settle for the status quo – we actively seek feedback in order to keep moving up. Once defined, a teacher’s competences do not remain unchanged; it’s about continual work on the teaching personnel personal advancement. We conduct regular surveys with our teachers, as well as the parents, in order to fully understand and enhance all their experiences at our school. The primary goal is to make sure that the teachers spend as much time as possible on the personalisation of education for each individual child. We, in turn, use this feedback to create even better tools for teachers and parents, so that everyone can focus on what’s most important – a deeply personalised top-quality education.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEACHING IS THE TRULY DIFFERENT THING AT SAVREMENA

I am in a position to provide much more than the basics of the subject to my students, and instill additional knowledge and skills. The modern technology we use in our lessons allows for an interdisciplinary approach to different subjects, which is why the students actively participate in class and keep wanting to learn more.
