Third-grade students enjoyed panoramic sightseeing of Belgrade

An adventure in which we revived the spirit of Belgrade and discovered the historical secrets and interesting facts about the city

A beautiful and sunny day, smiling students eager for knowledge, teachers who love their job, and a tour guide who knows many interesting stories. What more do you need? Everything was ready for a special adventure – panoramic sightseeing of Belgrade in an open-air bus.

In Primary School Savremena, we always find ways for students to acquire knowledge through really different classes. This time, third graders of Savremena enjoyed an unforgettable ride on an Open Top bus and panoramic sightseeing of the city. You can only imagine how it feels when the capital becomes your classroom for a few hours.

With great enthusiasm and boundless curiosity, the students listened carefully to the tour guide and absorbed his every word. Driven by the cheerful atmosphere, they asked countless questions about history and culture and shared some of their observations.

The students spread their positive atmosphere and smiles from the roof of the tour bus through the streets they visited from Kralj Aleksandar Boulevard, Slavija Square, Kralja Milana Street, Terazije, Republic Square, Pariska Street, and Branko’s Bridge, to several large Boulevards in Novi Beograd such as Mihajlo Pupin Boulevard.

A break from the bus ride and rest in the park

The third graders may have taken a rest from the bus ride, but they continued socialising during the break in the park. They also treated themselves to their favorite dessert – delicious ice cream.

According to many studies, outdoor games are something that contributes to the development of cognitive, motor, and intellectual abilities, and often contributes to the understanding of culture and its values. That’s why at Savremena we take care to ensure that every school trip is educational, but also to allow students to recharge their batteries and prepare for school challenges through having fun.
