Students' success at the municipal solo singing competition

Students of Primary School Savremena showed exceptional self-confidence in public speaking

The students of the Primary School Savremena achieved remarkable results at the recently held municipal solo singing competition called “Zlatna sirena”, which was held at “Branko Radičević” Primary School.

Students of the second, fifth and sixth grades competed in genres such as folk, art, and children’s entertainment songs, as well as songs of the old. During the three days of the competition, the students stood out with their singing abilities, and achieved great results:

  • Vuk Đurđević (II-3) – 3rd place – genre: Serbian folk song;
  • Kira Francišković (II-2) – 2nd place – genre: international folk song;
  • Emili Francišković (II-2) – 2nd place – genre: art solo song,
  • Lorena Lazić (II-2) – 2nd place – genre: children’s entertainment song;
  • Vana Vlaović (V-1) and Nađa Otanjac (V-1) – 2nd place – genre: children’s entertainment song and Serbian folk song;
  • Lara Radoičić (V-1) –3rd place – genre: international folk song;
  • Hajdi Gajić (VI-2) – 2nd place – genre: song of the old.

This is the first time that the students of Primary School Savremena have participated in the live municipal competition since last year it was held online, and two years ago, it was not organised due to the pandemic.

Students of Primary School Savremena gained valuable experience in a public performance at the solo singing competition, which significantly contributed to strengthening their self-confidence. Even though some students from other schools faced stage fright and failed to finish their performances, students from our school were extremely confident and successful in their performances.
