At Primary School Savremena, we nurture the spirit of innovation and a deep awareness of the importance of preserving our planet. With their creativity and love for the environment, Savremena students have inspired us to implement a special project that promotes ecological responsibility.

Thanks to an art contest in which students from Primary School Savremena creatively depicted what a solar tree should look like, we decided to plant such a tree in the courtyard of our school.

Spring brought us plenty of rain and fertile soil, so it’s no surprise that such a tree sprouted overnight on the first day of summer.

The tree with solar panels will use sunlight to generate energy, and students can charge their phones and other electronic devices using USB ports located on each bench.

We believe that this modern solar corner will become a new favourite spot for sitting, spending time with peers, and learning. We are particularly pleased that Savremena once again succeeded in turning the ideas of the most creative students into reality.
