Globetrotters: Pilot testing completed within the Erasmus+ project

Students explored European languages and cultures through interactive activities

As part of the Erasmus+ Globetrotters project, the pilot testing of the developed modules for introducing different languages and cultures (such as Greek, Romanian, Dutch, English, French, and German) has been successfully completed. So far, the testing has been successfully carried out with students from all first, second, third, and fourth grade classes, with modules in all of the listed languages being tested. The preschool group was also included in the testing process.

During the testing phase, modules covering various everyday situations and themes were implemented, including: At the Festival, At School, In the Restaurant, In the Park, In the City, and At the Museum. The testing also introduced students to the project narrative about the curious alien characters, the Globiteoti, who travel across and explore different European countries with the help of their local guides. Activities were carried out through a combination of the Genially digital platform and engaging interactive physical materials created by the partner organizations participating in the project.

After each testing session, students evaluated the activities they had participated in, and the feedback has been extremely positive. Students are easily acquiring new knowledge about language and culture through this innovative learning approach.
