Exciting cruise on the Danube and the Sava for seventh graders

We once again proved why education at Primary School Savremena is really different

Knowledge is best acquired experientially, which is why different dynamic methods are applied in Savremena, and the most popular one among students is the “outdoor classroom”. What other schools can take pride in improving children’s creativity and academic development outside the classroom? It sounds impossible, but teachers and students really turn any area they like into a classroom.

This time, seventh graders of Savremena learned a lot about the beautiful rivers Danube and Sava, which contribute to our city being a beautiful place. They increased their knowledge of the rich history that makes the area we live in unique and they had a great time.

When students have the opportunity to have fun while learning, they become motivated, interested, and creative, and when they feel like that, they develop a more positive attitude to school, as well as a love and desire for learning.

As they grow up, they transfer such a model of behaviour to every segment of their lives, and this cruise is just the beginning of a series of diverse contents designed so that children, outside of school, get to know the nature and sights of the city they live in, whereby their classroom becomes a “classroom without walls”.

Primary School Savremena uses that concept based on successful world examples in education, and that is why Savremena is both recognisable and unique in the region.

We are looking forward to new school trips and activities that will take place in nature, that is, in a green classroom where children will continue to develop their contact with nature.
