Excellent results of our students at the municipal competition

PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS - SUBJECTS LEARNED WITH PASSION AND DEDICATION

At the municipal competition in physics and mathematics, the students of Savremena showed great level of knowledge, which is just one more confirmation that our school and teachers provide quality education and support to students in developing their talents and skills.

VI-2 students, Anika Ranković, Maja Milutinović and Pavle Lav Bojović, participated in the municipal competition in physics. Anika Ranković won second place with an enviable 98 points and will represent our school at the district (city) competition in March. Maja Milutinović won 60 points and a certificate of excellence, and Pavle Lav Bojović won 52 points.

7th and 8th-grade students also participated in the municipal competition in physics – Sava Radibratović and Vanja Pantelić (7th grade), and Andrej Ranković (8th grade), who won third place.

Physics teacher Irena Stanković says that it was a pleasure to prepare such students for the competition. Great commitment and dedicated work in regular classes were an introduction to the additional classes where the students devoted themselves to preparing for the competition. When it comes to practical teaching, the students mastered the demanding physics material with ease.

The municipal competition in mathematics for lower-grade students was held at “Borislav Pekić” Primary School.

Ema Stojić from class III-2 won second place (62 points), while Damjan Grumić from class III-1 received a certificate of excellence (40 points).

Petar Stamenić (66 points) and Ana Nikolić (62 points), both from class IV-1, won third place.

We are especially proud of their teachers Mina Krneta, Milica Marić and Branka Đurović, who prepared the students for this demanding competition.

At Primary School Savremena, we try to motivate students to demonstrate their knowledge on various occasions, so competitions are an excellent opportunity for students to prove themselves in the subjects they are most interested in.
