ECO-STUDENTS ATTEND WWF WORKSHOPS ON ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

As an eco-school, Savremena regularly organises different educational events and workshops in which the children learn about environmental protection and raise their eco-awareness. On Monday, 9 December, Savremena’s primary school students took part in interesting and instructive workshops on plant and animal species, led by representatives from WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature).

Savremena’s students, together with teaching assistant Uroš Krstović, successfully climbed Mytikas, the highest peak on Mount Olympus. At 2,918 metres, Mytikas is the second highest peak in the Balkans and the home of Greek gods, with a breathtaking view.
