A visit to the magnificent ranches and an active vacation of the students of Primary School Savremena

Fourth and sixth-grade students enjoyed the beautiful nature

Spending time in nature is a unique experience for children because nature is a place where curiosity, creativity, the development of neural circuits, and many skills are encouraged through active vacation. That’s why the students of Primary School Savremena went on an adventure outside the city. Fourth-grade students visited the ranch “Tamiski Konaci” and enjoyed its pleasant atmosphere, while sixth-grade students were welcomed by the hosts of the ranch “Rodjaci sa sela”.

The first educational centre in Serbia, “Tamiski konaci”, is located not far from Pancevo on an area of 1,000 hectares. It is a resort that, together with the “Stari Tamis” farm, is an interesting tourist attraction and an educational environment when it comes to introducing children to primary agricultural production, animal husbandry, vegetable growing, farming, etc.

Fourth-grade students, who are nature lovers, really enjoyed this day. Through working on the farm, they learned a lot about agriculture, bonded with nature even more, and learned what a chain of healthy, organic food production is.

Through an active vacation, we created new memories and gained new knowledge

The visit to the ranch “Rodjaci sa sela” was a complete success. In the magnificent nature, the students of Primary School Savremena recharged their batteries and explored the surroundings during a walk in the fresh air.

Upon arriving at the ranch, the first group of students visited the horse stables and went horseback riding under the supervision of the trainer, while the rest of the group stayed on the ranch and participated in an organised pottery workshop. Each of the students, according to the potter’s instructions, made something for themselves, which was delivered to the school after the clay was baked.

At the end of the school trip, students and teachers enjoyed the local specialties that the hosts prepared for them.
