We have successfully collected donations for three charity campaigns ahead of the holidays. The students and their parents showed generosity and solidarity by responding in large numbers.

The donations will go to those who need them the most, and we’re sure the gifts will brighten up their festive season.

GENEROSITY, SHARING AND DEVELOPING EMPATHY IN NOVEMBER

In November, we collected donations for three charity campaigns. We’re expecting to deliver the gifts, which are currently in the school hallway, in the coming days. What’s also important is that the campaign taught the students the importance of empathy and helping those in need.

The campaign included food donations, which were distributed by the admins of the Facebook group “A Meal for a Family”, who have successfully organised similar events in the past.

The second campaign entailed collecting warm clothes for the children at the Drop-In Centre in Belgrade who live in informal settlements, mostly in extreme poverty.

In addition, we have collected thermometers for the Institute for Health Protection of Mother and Child in New Belgrade. This donation is highly valuable given the current epidemiological situation.

Together we’ve shown how important it is to support ideas that brighten up the lives of others and remind us of the joy of sharing.
