World Television Day did not go unnoticed in Savremena. The teachers and the second graders in the after-school care designed a whole series of fun activities that brought the children closer not only to the concept of television but also to the role and importance of the media in today’s society.

The students were given the task of designing their own television programmes so they could freely express their creativity. The teachers enjoyed the fun content – from news and weather forecasts to the show programme.

In this way, the students learned something about television and the media, and through playing they tried their hand at working as presenters, announcers, directors, videographers or screenwriters. Maybe for some children, this workshop was the moment when they realised what they want to be when they grow up, and we are sure that everyone enjoyed and had a good time with the unique modern TV programme.
