World Teachers’ Day

Teachers are children’s superheroes

Who exactly are teachers? They are sincere friends, supporters, coaches, musicians and magicians all at once, and people who do everything in their power to encourage children to think, create and love. They are children’s superheroes, authority and role models students look up to as they grow up. In their honor, November 5 is celebrated as the World Teachers’ Day, while in Serbia, this holiday is observed every November 8.

The United Nations – UNESCO was founded in 1946 with the aim of promoting cooperation among nations. In 1996, recommendations regarding teacher status and the essential role of teachers in providing relevant and appropriate knowledge to young people were adopted in a special UN session.

The World Teachers’ Day is an excellent opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contribution and love teachers provide to their students.

THANKS TO OUR TEACHERS, STUDENTS LEAVE SAVREMENA WITH KNOWLEDGE, BUT ALSO WITH A SMILE

Savremena can boast a well-coordinated and harmonious team that strives to understand the needs of each child. Savremena also strives to form optimum size classes – comprising 15 to 25 students. This way, teachers are able to dedicate 100% of their time and attention to each student, which results in the recognition and development of every student’s talent and satisfaction, because their needs and desires have been recognized and acknowledged.

A satisfied child is a happy child!

Children spend a large part of their time in school, so teachers at Savremena strive to make the most of it. Thanks to a friendly student-teacher relationship and a rich and varied curriculum, our school can boast an atmosphere of trust, where children feel loved and know that all curricular and extracurricular activities are organized so that they could acquire new skills, and be carefree and happy.

Trust is something that is gained and built over time, and the friendly relationship between students and teachers at Savremena is just an indicator of the values our school has been built on.
