Today, the finale of the large municipal competition “Safe Student” of the municipality of Novi Beograd was held. A total of 19 primary schools participated in the competition and it was the team from Primary School Savremena that won and impressed all other teams.

Our team, led by captain Aleksa Kostić, along with Filip Janković and Viktor Joksimović from class II-2, showed what true teamwork means. With immense support from their teacher, they prepared in just two weeks and shone in the competition. Despite strong competition, our students stood out with their knowledge of traffic rules.

In addition to the victory in the “Safe Student” competition, we also have to point out the journey of our students to this success. In preparation for the competition, our students showed incredible enthusiasm and dedication. They learned about traffic rules, familiarised themselves with traffic signs, did tests, and practised in the school’s surroundings to master the learned rules.

At the competition, our team not only stood out with knowledge but also with maturity, team spirit, and determination. This was an excellent example of how important practical knowledge can be mastered through a creative correlation of multiple school subjects.

The return to school was triumphant – with medals, a trophy, and a laptop in hand! The school principal and all classmates welcomed them with smiles, pride, and joy. This is a true inspiration and proof that effort and dedication always pay off. Kudos to our champions!
