Katarina Mladenović and Milena Tarbuk, psychologists at Primary School Savremena, designed a Psychology workshop for its students on the occasion of Children’s Week. The goal was for children to understand how the conditions in which they grow up and spend their childhood are important for their development, as well as to practice spontaneously expressing what they need and to connect with each other.

In the opening activity of the workshop, the students moved to the music to warm up and relax so that they could move on to the main part of the workshop in a good mood.

During the main part, they posed a lot of interesting questions and exchanged opinions about what children need for a beautiful childhood and harmonious growth and development.

In the final activity, the children had the task of giving each other compliments through a designed game. Thus, they spontaneously discovered a lot that they did not know about each other and came to interesting and useful conclusions.

Workshops like this are a great opportunity for children to get to know each other better, build closer relationships and get encouraged to share their feelings, wishes and needs with others.
