“This Is What We Love to Read” or 12 fantastic vlogs about books
The students had an unusual task to make videos about their favourite books
Erudition, and literary and reading talent have long been a staple at Savremena, but on World Book Day, the students truly surpassed the Internet with their knowledge.
In a creative, narrative and visual way, they presented their favourite books, while some of them talked about the books they are writing themselves, no less.
For Bojan Nešić, Batman is unsurpassed; Orlovi rano lete (Eagles Fly Early) is a book Aleksa Beštić, Katarina Milosavljević and Matija Milosavljević always come back to; Tara Nikolić prefers The Girl Guide; The Little Prince is the best book for Ana Ljubenović, while The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a favourite of Sara Cvijetić, Stefan Ćirković and Aleksa Marković.
Lazar Bulat loves a book called Nemoj biti taj lik (Don’t Be That Guy). And Maša Pašić, already a children’s author, talked about her own book. This is not a joke, but proof of the great talent fostered at Savremena! So check out the utterly charming videos which the kids made in vlog club.
We read, learn and discuss together…We make videos about the books we love! Enjoy the vlogs we made for you with help from the project mentor; this time it was teacher Marina Gava.
Primary students, well done! We know that this is just the beginning of your road to success! We’re glad that you’re cherishing real values is true Savremena style!
