Primary School Savremena’s students delighted everyone with their decision to invest a portion of the money collected during the New Year’s Bazaar in gift baskets for the children at the Centre for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youth.

With this gesture, the students showed that empathy is an integral part of Savrmena’s approach to education. The time spent with the little ones from Zvečanska will be forever etched in the memories of our students.

An important lesson for the primary students – how to be altruistic and take care of others

During this charity event, the students had fun and learnt an important lesson – what it means to be altruistic and take care of others. This was yet another event in which the students learnt from their teachers how to be socially responsible and how even the slightest gesture can mean so much to many.

Empathy and the fact that we can all be socially engaged made our primary students special in the eyes of the children from Zvečanska. The emotions shared during this day are proof that all Savremena’s students will grow to be altruistic and generous people!
