Young innovators from grade IV of Primary School Savremena – Petar Stamenić, Jovan Bogunović, Vojin Janjušević, Luka Odobašić, Ognjen Simić, and Konstantin Petrović – have achieved the highest scores and medals in their category at the European FIRST® LEGO® League Championship 2023.

With their mentors, class teacher Branka Đurović and robotics teacher Maja Babić, our students demonstrated exceptional knowledge and team spirit at this prestigious competition.

The students who are members of the “GameChangers1” team qualified for this European event thanks to their dedication, perseverance, and strong teamwork. Their project, which highlighted how natural resources can be converted into electrical energy to preserve nature, drew significant attention and received well-deserved recognition at the championship.

The school is extremely proud of their achievements and congratulates them on this outstanding accomplishment. We expect our students to continue achieving impressive results in robotics competitions in the upcoming seasons.

In addition to participating in the competition, our students took the opportunity to visit the Technology Park in Slovenia, where they familiarised themselves with the latest technology, robots, and VR techniques.

This journey not only provided the students with the opportunity to compete at an international level but also served as an inspiring experience that will help them continue to develop and enhance their robotics skills.
