Students organize yet another charity bazaar at Savremena

Here's how fifth-grade students raised money for those in need

Today, as part of the Global Perspectives project, the students of class V-2 organized a successful charity bazaar at school. These brave and enthusiastic young ladies demonstrated extraordinary initiative and social responsibility, all with the aim of helping those who need it the most.

Lemonade and cookies in the school lobby

At the bazaar, the students sold refreshing lemonade and delicious cookies, which they carefully prepared themselves. In addition to showcasing their culinary skills, the girls also learned the importance of teamwork and organization.

What is particularly commendable is that all the money raised from this event was not kept for themselves but was donated for humanitarian purposes. This selfless gesture will provide support to those in greatest need. The students of V-2 have stood out as examples of youth actively contributing to a better world, inspiring all of us to follow their lead.

Congratulations to them and their dedication to humanitarian values!

Cambridge Global Perspectives

In addition to being the most modern Cambridge elementary school in Serbia, Savremena can boast that it is one of the few Cambridge Global Perspectives schools in the region. This means that our students have the opportunity to attend a unique, interdisciplinary subject of Global Perspectives, constantly expanding their skills, developing critical thinking, and learning in a creative way. The overall approach and methodology at Savremena is different, innovative, interdisciplinary, and creative, which is why, among other things, it deserves its place among Cambridge Global Perspectives schools.
