Students of the fifth and sixth grades explored the rich Serbian history and culture during a two-day study trip
Journey through history: Topola – Oplenac – Orašac – Risovača – Aranđelovac
At the end of May, a two-day study trip was organised for the fifth and sixth-grade students, designed with a rich and interesting itinerary.
On the first day, our students visited Karađorđev konak, the St. George’s Church (which represents the mausoleum of the Karađorđević dynasty), Marićevića Jaruga, the house of King Peter I with a museum exhibition of items related to the Karađorđević dynasty, the Memorial School “The First Serbian Uprising”, and the monument to Vožd Karađorđe, where they had a history lesson. All these destinations aimed to help students refresh their knowledge gained in history, geography, and Serbian language and literature in an interesting way.
Afterwards, they were accommodated at Villa Aleksandar in Orašac, where they had an overnight stay and a disco. Great fun was guaranteed!
On the second day of the trip, students visited the National Museum in Aranđelovac, Bukovička Banja Park, the spring of mineral water, and the Risovača Cave, where they learned about the culture from the Paleolithic period.
Every field trip, and every study trip, not only provides an opportunity to acquire new knowledge but also to develop team spirit, solidarity, and friendship among students. Our students look forward to such trips because, in addition to the interesting destinations they visit, they enjoy the time spent together.
