Sewing Workshop held

Third-grade students share their skills with classmates

Kira and Emili showed their expertise and helped classmates in creating New Year’s trees.

At Primary School Savremena, an unusual and inspiring sewing workshop was held today, led by Kira and Emili, talented sisters from the third grade. This creative event allowed students to gain practical sewing knowledge using real needles, fabric, thread and buttons to craft unique New Year’s trees.

Sewing is not just for girls

The workshop was particularly significant as it attracted an equal number of boys and girls, demonstrating a growing interest and skill in sewing among young students of both genders. With their skilled guidance and enthusiasm, Kira and Emili managed to ignite a creative spirit in their peers, proving that sewing can be enjoyable and interesting for everyone.

This workshop not only provides an opportunity to learn new skills but also serves as a wonderful example of how collaborative work and support can make learning fun and meaningful. Through their initiative and excitement, Kira and Emili set a great example of how anyone can contribute to the community and how learning can be both enjoyable and beneficial.

Importance of the Life Skills Programme

The Life Skills Programme deviates from the traditional educational model, guiding students toward acquiring practical skills necessary for everyday life. The programme covers various aspects, including health education, basic culinary skills, home repairs and financial literacy, surpassing the boundaries of standard school subjects.
