Secret Friend is a game that has brought the students even closer and awakened real curiosity in Savremena’s classrooms. The students wrote their name on a piece of paper which we placed in a jar. Each student then took a piece of paper with the name of their secret friend.

After a while, the students brought something they made/obtained for their secret friend – cards, letters, drawings, sweets, school supplies and, of course, toys.

PRESENTS AND PRAISE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Without exception, the little ones embraced this game and carefully prepared the surprises for their friends. Throughout the previous week, there was great excitement and curiosity, as the secret friends skillfully left messages and gifts that were difficult to discover. This game, created to resemble the well-known Secret Santa tradition, helped them get to know each other better. The students couldn’t wait to come to school to delight their friends, and see what their secret friend had prepared for them.

The game taught the students that the greatest value of a present is not its material aspect, but the time and effort we put into making something creative, and the joy and gratitude we feel for the little things in life.

But the students weren’t the only ones who played Secret Friend. The teachers and the school principal also left messages and gifts for each other. Their motivation and excitement were at a high level. The game contributed to the festive atmosphere at the school and brought everyone lots of joy.
