As part of the “Parents at Work” programme, second-grade students visited the company “Almont” on 23 December. The company was founded by Marija and Smiljan Džaleta, parents of their classmate Petar Džaleta. This visit gave students a firsthand experience of how a successful company operates and introduced them to the world of entrepreneurship.

During the tour, students had the opportunity to learn about the workflow at “Almont” and ask questions to the founders. Through concrete examples, they discovered how products are made, how teamwork functions in a company, and how knowledge and innovation play a crucial role in business success.

Visits like this not only allow students to learn about their parents’ professions but also inspire them to think about their future careers. The “Parents at Work” programme continues to connect schools with businesses, offering students an engaging and educational way to explore the world of work and entrepreneurship.
