Savremena’s students demonstrate their hard work, commitment, and knowledge on a daily basis, especially in competitions. Having achieved exceptional results, Irina Ubiparip, Anika Ranković, and Mia Dupor and  Maša Pašić qualified for the municipal competition in the Serbian language and language culture.

In an inspirational setting such as Savremena, children regularly discover their affinities and love for certain fields. Thus, students Irina, Anika, Mia, and Maša discovered an interest and liking for the Serbian language.

They prepared diligently with their teachers Marija Šaponjić and Marina Gava for the municipal competition which is taking place on Saturday, 26 February, at “Radoje Domanović” Primary School in New Belgrade.

Despite the extended break, the students showed initiative and continued preparing with their teachers in online classes. We believe they will demonstrate their knowledge and make us proud.

The Serbian language and literature classes in Savremena combine the traditional and the modern. While following a traditional methodology of teaching the Serbian language and literature, we confidently introduce contemporary methods for learning grammar by making logical connections with foreign languages. It is exactly this kind of good practice that leads to our students’ success.

Savremena is conceived in such a way that its students get the encouragement they need to fulfil all their ambitions and reach their goals. By supporting the students, teachers at Savremena encourage them to test their knowledge in competitions in various fields.
