On Monday, 7 February, Primary School Savremena’s took part in an eco-workshop together with students from the International School. The main topic of the workshop was recycling, its significance, and the role of individuals in the recycling process.

During the workshop, the students learnt how each of us can contribute to waste sorting and how poor waste sorting can have serious consequences. In addition to the lecture, the students enjoyed a quiz. In pairs, the students competed and showcased their knowledge of recycling and environmental awareness.

In curricular and extracurricular activities, such as workshops, lectures, school trips and volunteering, the students gain crucial knowledge and skills related to environmental protection. For the students, the eco-workshop was a great experience that helped them learn about the importance of recycling, and develop team spirit and a sense of community when it comes to protecting our planet.
