Savremena vloggers’ unusual reports

You can only say something important and smart if you are confident in yourself

Media literacy is unusually important, and Savremena’s journalists have shown how knowledgeable they are and how much they have to say to the public that follows them.

Savremena’s vlogger club is an unforgettable experience whereby the students use the media to show their creativity and ability to present themselves and what’s important to them.

School vloggers are Savremena’s journalists who use their cameras to capture school life – from regular school days, through excursions and visits to different institutions, to school celebrations…

Some of the skills which the students acquire in this club enable them to identify journalistic forms such as news, reports, and interview, select and post content, and edit videos for YouTube. They practice on the school website, and have other creative assignments, as well. Take a look at their holiday work first:

As a phenomenon, vlogging is highly similar to blogging. It entails sharing views, opinions, and experiences through videos rather than the written word. Most vloggers have YouTube channels where they post their videos.

Here is some of the creative visual content created by Savremena’s primary students, which includes monologues, attractive messages, short films or cards. Here is how Mateja Baketarić, fifth grade student, talked about the topic of rain:

A good camera and professional video editing software are a must for every vlogger, and a good story travels far.

The popularity of websites like YouTube and the fact that many children watch and create video content clearly show that vlogging is a highly popular activity.

Savremena’s vloggers are on the right path; they use the Internet and social media in a healthy fashion to promote their values.
