Savremena's student wins third place in Serbian language competition

Another proof of our success in language education

Belgrade Primary School “Danilo Kiš” hosted the city competition in Serbian language and linguistic culture on Saturday, 9 April . Our student Irina Ubiparip won the third place, and we congratulate her on such a great success! This was the highest level of the competition for fifth-graders.

The competition was fierce, and language problems that needed solving were quite challenging! Irina’s achievement is the result of her commitment and hard work both in regular Serbian language classes, and in honors classes.

Winning in competitions makes children feel fulfilled and great in their own skin. Every success contributes to the child’s sense of pride, and winning is the best proof that they are good at something, which in turn positively affects their self-confidence.

The more effort and hard work one invests, the more precious the success. This winning experience motivated Irina to work even harder and achieve even greater and more significant goals.

Why are competitions good for children?

From the very first day of school, children acquire work habits and gradually enter the world of competitions in various subjects. Support is crucial at this age, which is why Savremena treats each student with equal attention and support, preparing them for new victories. In such an environment, children learn to love competitions, and gain courage.

School competitions are a great way for children to gain an even greater mastery of the subject that they are normally talented for, learn self-discipline, develop skills, shape their first ambitions, work on themselves, learn fair play and healthy competitiveness, make new friends and become more independent and self-reliant.
