We are proud to share the excellent results achieved by our students at the municipal history competition, where they secured placement for the city-level round. This accomplishment once again confirms that effort, consistency, and genuine interest in learning always lead to success.

During their preparation, students had the opportunity not only to expand their knowledge but also to develop skills that go beyond the standard curriculum. By analyzing historical sources, connecting events, and understanding cause-and-effect relationships, they built a broader perspective of the past and its influence on the present. This approach encourages critical thinking and empowers students to form and defend their own conclusions.

It is especially important to highlight the level of responsibility, perseverance, and organization our students demonstrated. Balancing regular schoolwork with additional preparation requires strong commitment, and our students proved they are ready for such challenges. The support of their teachers and a positive classroom environment played a key role in their success.

Students who qualified for the city-level competition stood out with their knowledge and confidence. Liam Lazarević Kalueng won second place, while Gvozden Sretenović and Ognjen Stanojević achieved third place in their respective categories.

It is important to emphasize that success in competitions is not only the result of individual effort but also of continuous guidance and support from teachers. Through collaboration, idea exchange, and additional learning activities, students strengthened their knowledge and built confidence in tackling complex tasks.

Special recognition goes to Dušan Janković, Andrej Joksimović, and Uroš Veljić, who achieved 80% accuracy on the test. Although they did not advance this time, their results clearly demonstrate a high level of knowledge and dedication, serving as strong motivation for future achievements.

Advancing to the city-level competition is an important milestone in our students’ educational journey. New challenges await them, requiring additional effort while offering opportunities for further growth and development. Competitions like this encourage analytical thinking, information integration, and confidence in one’s abilities.

We believe this success will motivate them to continue exploring history with dedication and curiosity. Such experiences also help build responsibility toward learning and awareness of the importance of education in today’s world. With ongoing support from teachers and the school community, students are well-prepared for future success.
