Parents at Work: Students Visit a Retail Store

Developing Entrepreneurial Spirit and Consumer Literacy through the Life Skills programme

As part of the school project “Parents at Work”, which is also implemented as part of the Life Skills programme, parent Dejan Crveni welcomed students from class III-3 to his retail store located in the Galerija shopping center. This unique learning environment gave students the opportunity to discover how the world of retail and entrepreneurship works – directly on-site.

From Idea to Brand: How a Business is Created and Grows

During the visit, students had the chance to learn about the brand’s history, the basics of running a business, and the role of a small entrepreneur in today’s society. Dejan Crveni explained in an approachable and engaging way how knowledge, responsibility, and dedication are essential for successfully running one’s own business, inspiring students to one day consider entering the world of entrepreneurship themselves.

Math in the Real World: Practical Problem-Solving

A special focus was placed on developing consumer literacy and essential real-life math skills. Through an interactive workshop, students applied their knowledge of mathematics by calculating prices, discounts, and making simple estimates, learning how to become responsible and informed consumers.

At Primary School Savremena learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door – it extends into the real world every day, helping students build skills that will serve them for a lifetime.
