As part of the Parents at Work programme, Primary School Savremena had the pleasure of welcoming Miloš Pavlović, a parent of one of our students, who introduced our learners to the exciting world of online commerce. During this engaging and interactive session, students learned how to create their own online store, how e-commerce platforms work, and how to upload products they would like to sell.

With just a laptop and an internet connection, Miloš guided the students step by step through the process of building an online shop – from choosing the layout and design of the site to adding product descriptions, prices, and photos. Everything was presented in real time, in a way that was clear and age-appropriate.

This session offered students a fantastic opportunity to explore the basics of digital entrepreneurship – a field that is becoming increasingly relevant in today’s world. Through discussion, questions, and real-life examples, they discovered how online selling works, what it means to build a personal brand, and why good product presentation matters.

Thanks to Miloš’s engaging approach and clear explanations, students quickly embraced the role of young entrepreneurs, thinking about what they would like to sell, how they would present it, and who their customers might be. Ideas ranged from handmade crafts and jewelry to artwork and even sweet treats – all shared with great enthusiasm and bright smiles.

Events like this one are valuable not only because of the knowledge students gain, but also because of the inspiration they carry forward. When children see that parents can share their skills and experiences in a fun and accessible way, it builds a stronger bond between school, family, and everyday life.

Miloš Pavlović succeeded in bringing a modern profession closer to our students and opened the door to a world that might capture their interest in the future. Who knows – maybe today was the beginning of someone’s future business idea!
