Mom in the role of History teacher

Here's how Katerina impressed the class IV-3 with her entertaining lecture

Students of class IV-3 at Primary School Savremena had a unique opportunity to look at history in a completely new way, thanks to a special guest – Katerina Kovačević, the mother of Mina Kovačević, a student from the same class.

A lesson born out of love for national history

Katerina, a graduate of international political science, delivered a fascinating lecture on the history of Serbia, with a special focus on the Old Slavic period and the Nemanjić dynasty. The students were thrilled with this interactive approach to learning. They actively participated, asked questions, and paid great attention to every segment of the lecture. This class was an opportunity for the students to see, through concrete examples, how the past influences the present.

Another example of parent-school collaboration

This learning approach aligns perfectly with the philosophy of Primary School Savremena, which encourages parents to actively participate in shaping the curriculum.

Katerina Kovačević shared her passion for history with the students, inspiring them to become more interested in the history of their country. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and the students showed exceptional interest in the topic, expressing a desire for similar classes in the future.

This class with our IV-3 students was an outstanding example of how Primary School Savremena strives to make education interesting, interactive, and relevant for students, encouraging them to think actively and participate in the learning process.
