We are proud to share another outstanding achievement by a student of Savremena Primary School. Mikhail Khorenko, a student of class 3-1, won 3rd place at the national “Misliša” mathematics competition, once again proving that dedication, perseverance and a genuine love of knowledge are always recognised and rewarded. After achieving an excellent result at the previous level of the competition and securing his place at the national stage, Mikhail continued his successful journey and demonstrated exceptional mathematical readiness, confidence and competitive spirit.

The “Misliša” competition is known for tasks that require much more than simple knowledge of school material. They call for careful reading, logical reasoning, connecting ideas, precision and the ability to look at a problem from different perspectives. In exactly such challenges, Mikhail showed calmness, dedication and maturity in thinking, which makes his result especially valuable. Winning 3rd place at the national level is a great success not only for him but also for the entire school community, which proudly follows the progress of its students and supports them at every step of their development.

This result is a continuation of Mikhail’s previous success, which we have already written about, when he stood out among the students of Savremena Primary School who achieved excellent results at the “Misliša” competition. His previous placement announced great potential, and now that potential has been confirmed at the national level. Mikhail has shown that success does not happen by chance, but comes as a result of continuous work, curiosity, persistence and readiness to embrace new challenges again and again.

At Savremena Primary School, we see mathematics as much more than a school subject. It is a space where students develop reasoning skills, learn to analyse, explore, ask questions and find different paths to solutions.
