Inspiring exchange of experiences with schools from our region
Primary School Savremena hosted the delegations of Primary School ``Maksim Gorki`` from Podgorica and Primary School ``Dule Karaklajić`` from Lazarevac
In a pleasant conversation with Milena Tarbuk – Acting Principal of Primary School Savremena, prof. dr Ivan Anić from ITS, representatives of Primary School “Maksim Gorki” from Podgorica and Primary School “Dula Karaklajić” from Lazarevac, guests and hosts had the opportunity to exchange their expertise and get acquainted with the working method and programmes of the schools that they represent.
Hosts and guests exchanged experiences and learned about new methods and techniques for working with students. The joint conversation gave the school principals the opportunity to exchange ideas and gain new perspectives on different aspects of school work, such as ways of working with talented students, teaching organisation, and the like.
Milena Tarbuk presented the pedagogical methods we use in teaching. She mentioned that Primary School Savremena offers a wide range of subjects and activities that enable students to acquire the knowledge and skills needed for successful progress in secondary school and further in life. Students can learn the basics of computing, languages, mathematics, history and other subjects, as well as grow and develop through various hobbies and extracurricular activities. Computer science teacher Maja Babić introduced the guests to our robot Pepper, which the guests showed great interest in. Robot Pepper is a humanoid robot used for various purposes in education. Our Pepper helps students become more familiar with the basics of robotics and develop their technical skills. It also helps teachers in teaching and provides additional emotional support to students, and It is used for various educational activities, such as games, tasks and exercises for developing logical and creative thinking.
This was just one of the planned visits by representatives of the two schools to our educational system. In the future, we can also expect visits to our other K–12 schools and further activities in the exchange of expertise of the schools involved.
