The teachers of Primary School Savremena continuously work on their personal and professional development in order to convey educational values, knowledge and life skills to their students in the best possible way.

Savremena’s teachers have recently joined the training of Lidija Miletić, who is a Master of Economics, as well as an NLP Master. At the training, teachers had the opportunity to learn about neuro-linguistic programming and NLP behavioural frameworks.

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a well-known methodology that helps individuals better understand the ways in which they receive, process and reproduce information and manage them, which leads to positive development and success in all areas of life.

According to NLP, all behaviour is structured, and unconscious processes in the human mind have a great influence on conscious thoughts. Therefore, the main goal of this method is to provide individuals with the effective tools they need to make the necessary changes in their thought processes and thereby turn them to their own advantage to achieve better results.

A well-designed and properly implemented NLP programme has great positive effects on learning and, in addition to contributing to the comprehensive, balanced development of students, it helps them greatly improve their own results.

By their very nature, children are more open to new things and absorb new information faster than adults, which is why it is important that they adopt positive patterns of behaviour and management of their emotions from an early age, and NLP techniques really help them with that. A happy and emotionally stable child achieves much better results in school and has better interactions with friends.
