As in previous years, the members of the Student Parliament organised a humanitarian bazaar in the last week of 2022, at the end of the first school term.

This time, students of higher and lower grades joined together in order to make as beautiful greeting cards as possible before the holidays, which were then sold in the school hall to raise funds for the most vulnerable group. Regarding where the collected money will be donated, a proposal was also made by the students from the parliament. This time they chose the institutions where children are treated for malignant diseases.

The dedication of the children and the speed with which they made the cards, the enjoyment while doing it, the concern about the proper organisation, and the glitter and zircons which they used to “decorate” the teachers, that is, their sleeves and hair, contributed to the fact that we all remember the immortal words of Duško Radović: “Little things we do can mean much to those who have nothing!”

During the holidays, it’s great to receive long-awaited gifts, but it’s even more beautiful to think of others in that state of happiness. We are proud of our students who reminded us of that.
