Great Achievement for Our Fourth Graders: Second Place at the Municipal Red Cross Knowledge Competition
Savremena Primary School students achieved an excellent result at a competition focused on Red Cross knowledge and the values of humanity and solidarity.
Another wonderful achievement for Savremena Primary School! Our fourth graders won second place at the municipal competition “What Do You Know About the Red Cross?”, once again demonstrating the value of knowledge and dedication.
The competition provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the Red Cross and its humanitarian work while highlighting important values such as solidarity, humanity and caring for others.
By achieving second place, our students earned a result they can be truly proud of. Beyond the final ranking, participating in a competition of this kind is a valuable experience, allowing children to broaden their interests and explore topics that are relevant to everyday life.
We are particularly pleased that our fourth graders had the opportunity to take part in an event that celebrates not only knowledge but also the importance of helping others and contributing positively to the community.
Competitions like this remind students that learning extends beyond school subjects and that understanding the needs of others is an important part of growing up.
We congratulate our students on winning second place and representing Savremena Primary School so successfully. Their achievement is another wonderful reason to celebrate and an encouragement for future competitions and new challenges.

Knowledge, Humanity and Solidarity at the Heart of the Competition
The “What Do You Know About the Red Cross?” competition carries special significance because it introduces students to the work of an organisation recognised around the world for its humanitarian activities and support for people in need.
Taking part in events like this encourages children to reflect on the importance of solidarity, mutual understanding and a willingness to help others. These values play an important role in their personal development, regardless of the paths they choose in the future.
For our fourth graders, the competition offered an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge while participating in an activity that connects education with important social values.
Their second-place achievement reflects their successful participation and provides further motivation to continue learning about humanitarian work and the importance of responsible behaviour towards others.
At Savremena Primary School, we value opportunities that allow students to demonstrate what they know while gaining a deeper understanding of principles that contribute to stronger communities and better relationships.
This is why we are proud not only of the excellent result but also of our students’ participation in a competition that places knowledge, humanity and solidarity at its centre.
It was an educational experience that offered something meaningful beyond the final result and gave our students another reason to feel proud of their efforts.
Proud of Our Students' Achievement
At Savremena Primary School, we encourage students to participate in a variety of competitions and activities where they can demonstrate their knowledge, build confidence and gain valuable experiences beyond the classroom.
The municipal “What Do You Know About the Red Cross?” competition was another opportunity for our students to represent their school and achieve an excellent result.
Achievements like this are particularly meaningful because they demonstrate that education involves more than mastering the school curriculum. It also includes understanding the world around us, developing social responsibility and recognising the importance of helping others.
By taking part in competitions, students have opportunities to explore different subjects, gain new experiences and discover interests that they can continue developing throughout their education.
We extend our sincere congratulations to our fourth graders on winning second place and thank them for representing Savremena Primary School with such a wonderful achievement.
We look forward to celebrating their future successes and supporting them as they continue to demonstrate their knowledge, dedication and abilities.
