Savremena is a truly different School where the content from different subjects is harmoniously combined through inspirational tasks and assignments. This time, students from V-1 and V-2 class presented their knowledge of geography, i.e. their mastery of the lessons The Universe, and The Solar System through panels and projects that they independently created in Art classes.

Children who learn to link and integrate knowledge of different areas into a harmonious knowledge base from an early age will have a valuable advantage in the future. Thinking outside the box is a need of the modern age, and leads to personal development in every sense of the word.

In Savremena, the boundaries between different school subjects are erased in order to help students to expand their knowledge, and master logical reasoning. Repetitive and pedestrian tasks and monotonous learning are a thing of the past. New approaches to learning, where the content from different subjects is combined, are the key to success in the education of young people. That is why young artists and geographers had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the universe and our planet.

FUN GEOGRAPHY

The original purpose of the task was to help students develop their knowledge and creativity, i.e. to translate their knowledge of geography into creative work. On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, both classes presented their projects in Geography class, in the presence of their Art teacher, and the school counsellor.

There is no world or planet beyond the reach of children, because all their paths lead to freedom and play. Flowers adorn the garden, butterflies adorn the flower, and children and their imagination adorn the world.”

And the smiles of Savremena students are the most beautiful adornment of our school. Year 5 students presented how the see the world and the planets to their teachers and psychologists. It is noticeable how skilled and talented they are, and how much they enjoyed another thematic lesson.
