Savremena’s primary school students found yet another way to contribute to environmental protection. Lectures on energy efficiency take place in eco-schools, and as representatives of an eco-school, Savremena’s students welcomed ecological lecturers from Elektroprivreda Srbije.

Through a game in an interactive workshop, the students learnt about the distribution, transformation and use of electric power.

CURIOUS STUDENTS ATTEND INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP

During the interactive workshop, the students showed their knowledge and interests, and had numerous questions for the representatives of Elektroprivreda. In real-life examples, they learnt how we can reduce power consumption and, consequently, environmental pollution, by changing our habits.

We expanded our knowledge on energy efficiency and learnt how to contribute to energy savings. We will think about how we can raise awareness and achieve our goal – save the planet and protect the environment, said one fifth-grader.

Through creative tasks and interactive exercises, Savremena’s students learnt how electrical power consumption is monitored. Also, they explored the possibilities of natural energy sources.

LEARNING ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AT SAVREMENA

Primary School Savremena is dedicated to environmental protection. Through curricular and extracurricular activities, including workshops, lectures and school trips, the students learn about the need to preserve the environment.

Together with their teachers, the students of Savremena, an eco-friendly school, participate in different campaigns, workshops, projects and specially designed lessons in order to contribute to the protection and improvement of the environment.
