Developing companionship is becoming a tradition at Savremena

Strengthening student’s personality

Primary School Savremena realized the project “Developing Companionship” once again in November and December, aimed at bringing students together and promoting team spirit. Senior students participated in the competition between classes by collecting points, and the winners were students of class V-2 and their homeroom teacher, Miloš Petrović.

The school practice aimed at developing companionship among senior students is slowly becoming a tradition at Savremena. The idea is to have all students in the class work together to collect as many positive points as possible at the end of the semester or the school year, and to be adequately rewarded for their effort.

The school also designed an accurate scoring system and a ranking table that is updated on a weekly basis. An interactive scoreboard is installed in the school hall, to remind students of the current scores of each class, i.e. each small student community. This way, the whole idea is given a sporting, and competitive character.

THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CLASS REWARDED

The V-2 class, led by their homeroom teacher Miloš Petrović, were declared the winners of this year’s competition and project. Their commitment in class, school achievement, good behavior, discipline, and strong companionship  helped them demonstrate a proper team spirit and collaboration, and eventually score the highest number of points in the competition.

As the winners of this project, they were allowed to choose an activity of their choice as a reward. By mutual agreement, the students opted for a class visit to the Delta City cineplex to see the new Spiderman movie. The visit to the cinema will be organized in early February.

Congratulations to class V-2 on the competitive spirit they have shown, and to their homeroom teacher Miloš Petrović on exceptional classroom management.
