CREATIVE AND IMAGINATIVE NEW YEAR’S SCHOOL PERFORMANCES BY SAVREMENA’S PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Primary School Savremena’s students worked hard to prepare the New Year’s plays and performances in order to delight their parents and show them what they learnt in the first term.
Each class gave a performance for their parents, with an original and different approach to the topic of holidays. Through these performances, the students wished a happy festive season to their parents and teachers in a special manner.
ALPHABET OF VIRTUES AND NEW YEAR’S WISHES FROM CLASS I-1
On Wednesday, 18 December, Savremena’s students in class I-1 gave a New Year’s performance for their parents, which comprised two parts: the Alphabet of Virtues and New Year’s wishes. Namely, the students and their teacher Branka Đurović assigned a virtue to each letter of the alphabet. Once they learnt the alphabet, the students started working on the project entitled the Alphabet of Virtues. They wrote verses for each letter and virtue and learnt to foster real values.
The parents had a little New Year’s surprise for the students towards the end of the show, when Santa Claus appeared and brought presents for the students.
STUDENTS IN CLASS I-2 REMINDED EVERYONE THAT DIVERSITY IS WEALTH
The students in class I-2 gave a mini-concert for their parents, the theme of which was the festive season, with the aim of celebrating diversity in various traditions and cultures, as this is something that connects us, broadens our horizons and enriches our individual worlds. Also, at the end of the show, Santa surprised the students with presents.
The students in classes I-1 and I-2 worked diligently in project lessons to prepare the New Year’s performances. We congratulate them on their creativity, courage and knowledge!
II-1 STUDENTS’ “PRIREDBAL” WITH LOTS OF DANCING, RECITALS AND ACTING
On Wednesday, 25 December, Year 2 students gave an interesting New Year’s performance for their parents entitled “PriredBAL”. The show took place in the school hallway, next to the Christmas tree and the fireplace which they made with their schoolmates. The students danced, recited, acted and presented everything they’ve learnt so far.
The students showed how talented and creative they are, and willing to give their best. And the audience, their parents, teacher Persida Petrović and other teachers, were delighted with the performance.
LOVE AND HOLIDAYS MARKED THE THIRD-GRADERS’ PERFORMANCE
The theme of the performance given by students in class III-1 was love and holidays, which always go together. The third-graders showcased their singing, dancing, acting and reciting talents to their parents and teacher Mirjana Ilić, given that their show included a musical, a sketch and recitals in three languages. The audience was delighted by the performance of the students in class III-1.
YEAR 4 STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS ATTENDED A NEW YEAR’S WORKSHOP
The students in class IV-1 and their parents celebrated the festive season in a slightly different manner: they attended an interactive workshop at the school in which they created New Year’s cards and decorations. Both the students and the parents enjoyed the activities, displaying extraordinary creativity, imagination and ingenuity, as seen in the images in the gallery.
In addition, the fourth-graders marked the last school day of 2019 with a party, different games and workshops in their class, during which they had a great time with their schoolmates.
YEAR 5 STUDENTS DELIGHTED THE AUDIENCE WITH A QUICK-FIRE SHOW IN WHICH THEY SHOWCASED NUMEROUS TALENTS
The fifth-graders prepared a “Quick-fire New Year’s Show V-1” for their parents, in which their choir performed several of their favourite New Year’s songs with an accompanying choreography. The enjoyment was complete!
In addition, the students recited New Year’s poems in different languages, after which they participated in a charity event in which they sent text messages for a charity helping sick people.
The students were delighted by the performance and the opportunity to do something nice for others, and their parents were happy to see their children in this role.
We wish a happy festive season and a great year to all Savremena’s students and their families!
