Board Games to End Children's Week: Learning, Fun and Friendship
Savremena Primary School pupils enjoyed their favourite board games brought from home
The final day of Children’s Week at Savremena Primary School was dedicated to board games, socialising and fun.Pupils brought their favourite games from home and spent time with their classmates in a relaxed atmosphere filled with laughter, conversation and interesting challenges.
Classrooms became spaces for playing together, where pupils had the opportunity to introduce their favourite board games, learn new rules and enjoy activities with their peers.
This way of celebrating Children’s Week demonstrated how even simple activities can create valuable opportunities to develop communication, cooperation and mutual respect.

Fun Activities That Develop Important Skills
Beyond entertainment, board games encourage the development of logical thinking, concentration, patience and teamwork. By discussing strategies, following rules and making decisions, pupils can develop useful skills in a natural and engaging way that also supports their everyday school experiences.
One particularly enjoyable aspect of the gathering was the opportunity for pupils to share games they usually play at home. They introduced different games to one another, exchanged experiences and enjoyed taking part in activities together.
Through experiences like these, pupils learn the importance of cooperation, communication and respect for others, while strengthening friendships and developing a sense of belonging within their school community.
Friendship and Togetherness as Part of School Life
Activities like this are an important part of school life, allowing pupils to connect beyond their regular lessons, discover their classmates’ interests and build positive relationships.
At Savremena Primary School, attention is given not only to academic achievement but also to developing social skills, encouraging cooperation and creating a positive atmosphere among pupils.
Playing board games together provided an enjoyable and relaxed end to Children’s Week, with plenty of smiles and shared moments for pupils to remember.
