Awaiting new school adventures: We readily welcome new students at Savremena
Teachers at Savremena know that engaging and relatable instruction is the requirement for the acquisition of quality and lasting knowledge, which is why they are already preparing and impatiently waiting to greet new students at Primary School Savremena.
Thus August at Savremena is passing in preparations for a new school year and professional development of teachers who attend workshops and professional development programmes every day, so they could welcome the new class of students prepared.
What are we preparing for primary school students?
1. Teachers at Savremena as experts for interdisciplinary lessons
What makes Savremena unique and special, among other things, is an innovative education system, so all teachers in this school are familiar with the well-known fact that only teachers who continuously improve and educate themselves can teach and educate others. All teachers at Savremena are constantly improving themselves, and they are far ahead of others when it comes to contemporary teaching methods. 2. Preparing a modern environment for students’ comfort
We at Savremena know that the most important thing for our youngest students is to feel comfortable in the school environment. This is why our premises are adapted to the needs of our students who will be able to sense the spirit of Savremena in modern classrooms, green and spacious schoolyard, and on the sports fields and courses, throughout the entire course of their education here. Both younger and somewhat older students will enjoy the modern environment, have fun and learn with interactive objects, carefully selected to develop their creativity and help them reach their full potential.
3. Welcome starter set
We also have school starter sets, i.e. surprise packages eagerly awaiting new students to use them in class, and create something new using their imagination and ideas. The starter set also includes school uniforms. Each grade wears different colours. The students will wear the uniforms promoting equality and nurturing a sense of belonging to their school.
Extracurricular activities and green education
The plan that enables students to have more fun and acquire as much new knowledge as possible is ready and awaits the beginning of a new school year and the arrival of new generations of students. All extracurricular activities throughout the year involve get-togethers, various experiences, knowledge, and development of children’s imagination and creativity.

Another benefit of education at Savremena is the fact that its students will leave school fully prepared for further education and master computer literacy which is gradually adopted from the first grade. This is why our class and subject teachers are both experts and experienced educators who will provide the children with much more than knowledge, and utilise all the possibilities of the latest technologies in contemporary interactive teaching, adapting it to the students’ age.
This way, little explorers will enter the world of IT from the very first day with the assistance and guidance of their teachers, and carefully selected technology will help them acquire knowledge in an interesting and efficient way.
