Autumn colors nature in a different way, using shades of red, warm orange and yellow which makes every artist want to embellish their canvas. In the second photo contest, “The portrait of autumn”, Savremena primary students used their camera objectives and preserved the beauty of autumn moments. Thanks to their artwork, we had a chance to witness the beauty of the second spring. As Albert Camus once said, “Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower”.

For two years in a row, Savremena students have had a chance to awaken their creativity and show how autumn magic inspires them and how they see it through their artwork. They have outdone themselves: each piece of art is simply marvelous. Each photograph is more beautiful than the previous one. It was difficult to choose the winner among these, so to say, masterpieces.

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS

A photographer has the power to integrate various shapes, colors and emotions into one photo, to stop a moment and immortalize it forever. Magic only takes a second.

Perhaps future famous photographers are hiding among Savremena’s artists. It is wonderful to see that our students have such a wonderful hobby, since art makes us more noble.

In the lower grades’ category, the winners are:

Lav Kostić, class I-1, who deservedly won the 1st place

Nika Varga, class III-2, who was the 2nd best artist

Marko Ponjević, class II-2, who won the 3rd place

In the upper grades’ category, the winning places were awarded to:

Pavle Mičić, class VI-2, who took the 1st place

Filip Perišić, class VII-1, who won the 2nd place

Tara Nikolić, class VIII-1, whose work earned the 3rd place
