A Day of Play, Nature and Team Spirit
Savremena Students on a Trip to Ada
A sunny day, the greenery of Ada and smiles that spoke louder than words created the perfect setting for another wonderful school experience for Savremena students. Time spent outdoors brought plenty of joy, movement and friendship, as well as an opportunity for a school day to become an experience to remember. The students enjoyed nature through sports activities, shared games and spontaneous moments that showed how valuable learning beyond the classroom can be.
Once again, Ada became a classroom without walls – a space where cooperation, confidence, fair play and responsibility towards others grow naturally through play. From the very first moments of the trip, a special kind of energy could be felt. The students looked forward to sports challenges, conversations in the shade, cheering for one another and spending time together in a more relaxed environment.
Volleyball, basketball, ball games and cheerful moments filled the courts, while the natural surroundings of Ada offered space for rest, refreshment and new friendships. Every smile, every successful move and every shared moment reminded us that school is not only a place for gaining knowledge, but also a place where lasting memories are created.

Sport as a Chance to Cooperate and Celebrate
During the trip, the students had the opportunity to take part in various sports and recreational activities. The volleyball court became a place of quick passes, teamwork and shared laughter, while on the basketball court the students practised accuracy, patience and fair play. Although every game had its own rules, the most important rule of the day was for everyone to have fun, support one another and take part according to their interests and abilities.
The tug-of-war game brought particular excitement and showed, in the best possible way, how important agreement, unity and team energy can be. The students cheered for one another, created strategies and learned that strength is not measured only by individual effort, but also by the willingness to be part of a team. Moments like these give children the chance to develop persistence, communication and a sense of belonging through play.
Spending time in nature made the whole experience even richer. The shade of the trees, the spacious sports courts and the time spent with friends allowed the students to relax, connect and enjoy a different kind of school day. The trip to Ada showed that important life skills are often learned through movement – through cooperation, agreement, laughter, support and shared small victories.
Memories That Last Beyond the School Day
Trips like this have a special place in school life because they give students the opportunity to get to know one another better, connect and experience learning from a different perspective. The day spent on Ada was not only a sporty break from everyday school routines, but also an important reminder that learning happens everywhere – on the court, in nature, in conversations with friends and in every moment when a child recognises how much they can contribute to the group.
Savremena students returned from the trip full of impressions, richer for new memories and even more connected as a community. Their energy, smiles and willingness to participate showed how important shared activities are for developing friendship, confidence and a healthy attitude towards movement.
At Savremena Primary School, we believe that experiences like this encourage children to be curious, active, open and ready to cooperate. That is why we will continue to create opportunities to extend the classroom to parks, sports courts, museums, nature and all the places where children can learn with their whole being.
