A Day Everyone Looks Forward To: Outdoor Education!

Students from grades I to IV will visit cultural, historical and natural sites.

Students from grades I to IV of Primary School Savremena had the opportunity to spend an unforgettable day in nature and visit the Fenek Monastery and the nautical village ‘Biser’. The time spent outside the classroom enriched their school experience, combining learning with play and recreation.

Activities and Experiences of the Day

The visit to the Fenek Monastery allowed students from grades I and II to become acquainted with the rich Serbian cultural heritage through interesting history lectures. Students from grades III and IV explored the nautical village ‘Biser’ where, through the subject ‘Svet oko nas’ (‘The World Around Us’), they learned more about nature and the aquatic ecosystem. The day was filled with various sports activities that encouraged teamwork among the students.

They also took the opportunity for various games and team activities, and then returned home (pleasantly) tired and satisfied.

The Importance of Practical Learning and Nature Stay

Through this school trip, students developed important life skills, such as collaboration and independence. Spending time in nature had a positive impact on their emotional and intellectual well-being. Parents and teachers expressed satisfaction seeing smiles on the faces of the students, confirming how valuable and significant such activities are for the overall development of children.

This educational experience once again confirmed the commitment of Primary School Savremena to provide its students with the best possible learning conditions, where theoretical knowledge is applied in real life, making the learning process vibrant and effective.
