Savremena Primary School took part in the Children’s Fair in Belgrade, held over the weekend of 19 and 20 September, where we introduced numerous visitors to a different approach to education – modern, creative and tailored to generations growing up surrounded by technology.

Over the two days of the fair, our stand attracted many children and parents eager to discover what a school looks like when knowledge is acquired not only through textbooks, but also through exploration, practical activities, interactive content and connections between different areas of learning. Our approach to combining education and technology sparked particular interest among younger visitors, showing them that learning can be an experience that encourages curiosity and discovery.

Children stopped by, asked questions, explored and enthusiastically discovered what makes Savremena Primary School different. Their reactions and smiles were the best confirmation that education can be high-quality, purposeful and exciting at the same time.

For parents, the fair provided an opportunity to learn more about Savremena’s educational approach and discover how we focus on developing knowledge, skills, independence and the individual potential of every student.

At the Children’s Fair, Savremena Primary School presented an educational approach that responds to the needs of today’s students and prepares them for an ever-changing world. Visitors had the opportunity to discover how modern technology becomes a natural part of the learning process and how students are encouraged to be active participants rather than passive listeners.

Through conversations with children and parents, we presented a learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and independence. It was particularly rewarding to see how interested the children were in everything we had prepared. They approached our stand, asked questions, explored the activities and wanted to discover what learning looks like when traditional teaching methods are complemented by modern educational tools.

At the same time, parents had the opportunity to speak with our team and learn more about everyday life at Savremena Primary School, our teaching approach and the opportunities available to students throughout their education.

The Children’s Fair was another opportunity to demonstrate that technology in education is not a goal in itself. When used thoughtfully and purposefully, it becomes a valuable tool that helps students understand concepts more clearly, participate more actively in lessons and connect what they learn at school with the world around them.

Taking part in the Children’s Fair was a valuable experience for Savremena Primary School, above all because of the many encounters with children and parents who visited us throughout the weekend. Every question, conversation and reaction reminded us of what matters most in education – inspiring genuine interest and creating an environment in which children want to explore, ask questions and learn more.

We were especially delighted by the curiosity and spontaneity of our youngest visitors. Their eagerness to come closer, explore, try things out and ask questions showed just how naturally children respond to content that actively involves them in the learning process and gives them space to discover.

For us, the Children’s Fair was much more than an opportunity to present our school. It was a chance to share our vision of modern education with families and demonstrate how quality learning can be combined with technology, creativity, exploration and meaningful experiences.

After two days filled with conversations and positive energy, we left the fair with many wonderful impressions. We would like to thank all the children and parents who visited us, spoke with our team and discovered Savremena up close. We look forward to future opportunities to meet again and continue showing just how inspiring learning can be.
