SAVREMENA'S PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AS GREAT POETS
Who says learning from home is monotonous and boring?
If you have a good idea, great talent and a desire to gain new knowledge and skills and advance on a daily basis, physical distance will not be an obstacle. On the contrary, it will boost you and make you do your best.
Just as Year 4 students did in a Global Perspectives lesson.
Just as Year 4 students did in a Global Perspectives lesson.
And it all started as a casual conversation about what Savremena’s primary school students miss the most in these circumstances and how they are spending time at home. And little by little, word by word, conversation topics came flooding and grew into beautiful poems.
Written in English!
In the poems, Savremena’s students described in their own humorous way how they feel when they can’t go to school and how they are finding distance learning. Through rhyme and verses, they described what it means to them to communicate with their friends on a daily basis and how they are spending their spare time, showing to the world what great poets are hidden in them, waiting for their chance to shine.
For each poem the students deserve a big ‘well done’, and we hope that this is just the beginning and that the students will delight us with new poems.
