Young Adventurers in the World of Theater: First and Second-Grade Students Enjoyed the Play “The Adventures of Sungi Lumba”

Sungi Lumba – A Hero Who Teaches Us Courage and Perseverance

The first and second-grade students of Primary School Savremena had the opportunity to experience the magic of theater during their visit to Duško Radović Theatre, where they enjoyed the play “The Adventures of Sungi Lumba”. This unforgettable theatrical journey took them into a world of imagination, exciting challenges, and extraordinary characters, reminding them of the importance of play, friendship, and problem-solving in growing up.

The play “The Adventures of Sungi Lumba” brought our young students thrills, laughter, and valuable life lessons. The main character, Sungi Lumba, led them on an exciting journey full of challenges, surprises, and magical moments, showing how courage, imagination, and a bit of wisdom can help overcome any obstacle.

The children followed the story with excitement, cheered for their favorite characters, and eagerly absorbed the lessons woven into the narrative. Through entertaining and dynamic scenes, they learned the importance of perseverance, self-belief, and helping others.

Theater – A Place Where Imagination and Emotions Come to Life

Visiting the theater is an integral part of Primary School Savremena’s educational programme, as we believe that such experiences are invaluable for developing creativity, emotional intelligence, and a love for the arts.

Through performances like this, our students not only enjoy engaging stories but also learn to recognize different emotions, develop empathy, and reflect on the values that matter in life. The theater allows them to connect with the characters, ask questions, and discover new meanings in the stories they watch.

Student Excitement: “When Are We Going Again?”

After the play, the children eagerly shared their impressions, and their smiles and enthusiastic comments proved how much they enjoyed it. “It felt like we were part of the adventure!”, “I loved Sungi Lumba the most because he’s brave and funny!”, “We want more plays like this!” – were just some of the reactions heard upon returning to school.

This theater visit once again proved that art has the power to inspire, teach, and connect children with the world of imagination and values. We are looking forward to new theatrical adventures and can’t wait for the next play!
