Workshop Full of Love for March 8th
When Love Becomes Handcraft
For March 8th, preschoolers and students of Savremena Primary School had a special and very joyful creative workshop. With lots of smiles, colors, and children’s imagination, they made bouquets intended for mothers, grandmothers, and all dear women who hold a special place in their hearts. Each bouquet was unique, made carefully and with lots of love – because the most beautiful gifts are not those that are bought, but those that come from the heart.
Classrooms were full of concentration, but also joy. Children chose colors, cut out hearts, assembled paper flowers, and thought about how to make their bouquet special. Some added colorful details, others wrote messages carefully choosing each word. On cards, they wrote recipes for the best mom – ingredients like love, attention, smiles, warm hugs, and dedication. They added hearts of different colors, decorations, drawings – everything that makes each work personal and unique. This process wasn’t just a creative activity. It was an opportunity for children to think about what the women in their lives mean to them, how they perceive them, what they appreciate about them. Through play and creation, they learned how love can be expressed – not only with words, but also with gestures, handiwork, attention to detail. They worked before March 8th, preparing a surprise that they proudly presented to the most important women in their lives on the holiday itself. This small and sincere sign of attention surely brightened the day of the ladies for whom the bouquets were intended.

Song as a Gift
In addition to the creative workshop, students prepared another surprise – songs about mothers. Teachers organized moments in which children sang songs dedicated to their mothers, full of warmth, gratitude, and love. They recorded video messages showing smiles on children’s faces, joy in their voices, and sincerity in every word they sang.
These video messages were sent to parent groups on March 8th as a small surprise – a moment that brought tears of joy to many mothers. Because there’s no better feeling than hearing your child’s voice singing a song that speaks about you, about everything you do, about everything your presence means. The songs were simple, but their power was enormous – because they came from the heart. Students enjoyed the preparations, repeated verses, laughed, helped each other. And through that process, they learned something important – that attention doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to be valuable. It’s enough for it to be sincere.
A Holiday That Is Felt
At Savremena Primary School, March 8th is not just a date on the calendar. It’s an opportunity to show children how attention and love can be expressed through creation, through words, through gestures. How emotions can be transformed into something tangible – a bouquet, a card, a song. And how the most beautiful gifts don’t have to be expensive or perfect – it’s enough for them to be sincere and made with love.
The bouquets, cards, and songs that students prepared carry something that no purchased gift can – a personal touch, effort, and emotion that cannot be replaced. Each bouquet says: “I thought about you. I made this for you. I loved while making this.” And that’s exactly what makes this gift special. Through this workshop, children learned that expressing love is a skill that is practiced. That attention is shown through small gestures. That creativity is a way to transform feelings into something that lasts. And that they, through their work, brightened the day of those they love.
We congratulate all mothers, grandmothers, and dear women on their day. And to the students – thank you for showing that love is expressed most beautifully when it comes from the heart.
