The first day of school at Savremena Primary School was filled with excitement as students, their parents, and teachers embarked on a new school year. As with every year, the welcoming of new students was brimming with emotions, as the little ones eagerly awaited the beginning of their new life adventure.

Principal Uroš Veličković formally greeted the first graders and their parents, emphasizing the importance of children keeping their smiles and constantly laughing. He also reminded them that hard work is the key to success and that a poor grade should not discourage any student, as there is always an opportunity for improvement.

Teachers and students enjoyed a rich cultural program together. Two ballerinas from the “Beobalet” school amazed everyone with their performance, while two brothers from the “Guitar Art” school delighted the audience with their rendition of famous local hits, accompanying themselves on guitar. The school choir also contributed to the festive and cheerful atmosphere, making the event unforgettable.
